Jagannath Temple of North America
The Jagannath Temple of North America (JTNA) is a sacred place devoted to Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra. Established by the Odia community in the United States, the temple serves as a spiritual, cultural, and social hub for devotees of Lord Jagannath and followers of Sanatana Dharma.
Located in the peaceful surroundings of Woodbine, Maryland, JTNA connects devotees with the traditions of the holy city of Puri and spreads the message of love, equality, and devotion.
Our Deities
Lord Jagannath
Lord Jagannath (Lord of the Universe) is the primary deity. In his form he embodies compassion, devotion and divine universality — welcoming all devotees irrespective of background.
Lord Balabhadra
The elder brother of Lord Jagannath, symbolising duty, strength and integrity.
